Don’t Fight Disease, Nurture Vitality
Breema offers a new way of looking at the world.
From our earliest moments, we are conditioned by our parents, teachers, friends, and the media to think, behave, and react in particular ways. This “education” then basically governs our social interactions, our choices, and even our health. These outer influences actually create a picture, an image, that we take to be ourselves.
But every now and then, there are events that give you the opportunity to see and experience the world differently. Often, though not always, this comes in the form of a challenge—an illness or difficulty in your job or personal life. This can go one of two ways—it can create fear or inspire a search for answers.
When the body, mind, or feelings are ill, it can motivate you to search for the root of your illness. By finding your path to health, and what supports you along the way, you become more able to care for your body, with all its ups and downs. You are less likely to feel hopeless, because you know there is always something you can do, however small, to increase your health and come back to balance. You begin to recognize what is needed for your body, and when and whom to ask for support.
The philosophy of Breema says, ‘Don’t Fight Disease, Nurture Vitality.’ By learning to connect with your body, you become more able to know what your body needs, and that inner knowing becomes your guide to experience real health.
The process that starts with your own journey to health continues as you discover you can also support your family, friends, and even your community. You may end up feeling grateful for whatever happened that initiated your search for health, because it led you to develop a new attitude, with confidence in your ability to access you body’s inner wisdom.
